Puerto Rico’s October Revolution
The independence movement in Puerto Rico has been an irritant to the US for over a century, with their constant cries for “freedom”, “equality”, and “sovereignty”. Until recently, these things have seldom aligned with US interests. In fact, it got so bad with these Puerto Rican rebel fighters back in 1950, the US had to order aerial bombardments and ground assaults with heavy artillery (Howitzer cannons, M4 Sherman tanks, etc.) throughout the main island.
Stargate Project
The Stargate Project sounds like a wildly bold adventure into the unknown. And in many ways, it is. This multi-billion dollar effort announced by President Trump aims to supercharge — and secure — artificial intelligence (AI) research and development in the US by creating a joint enterprise between cutting-edge technology companies and Japanese financial giant, SoftBank. Curiously, Elon Musk is not on the roster.

The foundation of the modern Middle East has been broken from the start. Time, effort, and resources, beyond the immediate and basic humanitarian needs, should not be wasted on limited, stubborn ideas that will only lead to more tragic waste of human life. To break the cycle, a new foundation must be redrawn and built.
